Gnolls were spawned by the Demon Raz’n’guul, born from a rotten tooth of the corruption god Melmor himself. This fiendish offspring, cousins to the weaker Kobolds, lives in nomadic tribes which raids through the lands of the mortals, offering fresh souls for their gods.
The insatiable appetite of these beasts often leads them to madness and cannibalism. The tribe of the Bonegnasher is composed by bulky and savage Gnolls who pillage through the lands of Rotvar, always on the lookout for new prey to tear apart.
I STAND WITH LA PALMA is not your typical 3D printable figurine campaign. It is a fundraiser to help the evacuees whose home was destroyed by the volcano. 50% of the profits from any sale of a Hefesto printed model will go the the relief efforts in La Palma.
If you have a 3D printer of your own and want to support this fantastic cause then head over to My Mini Factory on the link below to pledge and help those affected by this disaster.
The Arbiter Miniatures Kickstarter Heroes of the Realm has produced some fantastic miniatures and I feel bad it has taken me this long to list them. They are all supportless minis so there is absolutely no clean up on them, just prime and paint. Also due to the way they are sculpted to make them supportless they end up more robust, so great for those younger hobbyists or those who struggle with the fiddly bit of some of the other minis on this site, without compromising on detail.
Monstrous Makings Ltd has a commercial license from the kickstarter to print and sell physical copies of these models.
The Tritons are the proud folk of the seas, which ancestors are common to those of the Alfar. Being one of the people elected by Holmuran, God of Water, their role is to protect one of the legendries Scale of Holmuran in the Sunken Kingdom, in the center of the Tridlian Sea. This artifact gives them the power to control the Tides in their region.
Divided into houses, they are led by the Council of the First, composed of the most ancients Tritons. They are formidable adversaries both underwater and on land, thanks to their innate dexterity and their mastery in the use of the mysterious tridents and blades built in Aquitrium alloy.
Seeing the corruption that spreads in every living thing, the Tritons isolated themselves from the rest of the world, unconditionally attacking anyone who dared to enter their territory and vowing to rid the sea of Holmuran’s enemies. Their sworn enemies are the Jurakin, who had been corrupted and deceived by one of the fearsome Tide Tyrants who follow the schemes of the Tyrant God Tialevor himself.
I debuted the Gun Mage costume a month ago at the first Saturday night D&D session at the fantastic Nerdy Coffee Co. but it has taken me this long to sit down and write it all up. The team at Darkblade LARP did a fantastic job on the leatherwork and after some back and forth the parts all fit perfectly.
First up we have the Gun Mage costume:
And then the full Mechanik costume:
And just because 2 costumes wasn’t enough variety I’ve started working on some more parts. I’m currently playing a Rhulic Dwarf Mechanik with a Repeating Pistol and a Mechanikal Arm in a campaign so I figured I’d start there. Whilst looking around for Mechanikal Arm inspiration I found the picture of the Khador Mechaniks Chief from the Warmachine game and noticed the head on his ‘Jack Wrench looks like a ratcheting socket set, so I started to build a new head for my wrench too. The socket heads are going to be magnetized so they will be interchangeable and they will also fit into the Slug ammo loops for ease of carrying.
Next up was the repeating pistol and for that I went to thingiverse to try and find a revolver to suit. I ended up with a Destiny gun that kinda looked the part but didn’t have a functional interior, so I downloaded the files and got to work of making it all work. The first prototype is done and the hammer and trigger mechanism works, I just need to get a few more parts printed to test the cylinder advancement system. I’m also working on adding runes instead of the detailing on the original files. It’s also scaled to fit in the Magelock holster and to use the same bullets for maximum cross purpose.
Now to look into working on the Mechanikal Prosthetic Arm, that’s gonna be a fun one.
The Hobgoblins, stronger and taller cousins of the Goblins and worshiper of the Goblin god Grimbog, are among the most ancient and cruel races that lives in the Falgor Swamp, a wild and inhospitable land on the edge of the Deeproots forest. For centuries, the Blackrazor tribe stuggled to survive against the continuous attacks by the Gurunda and other Hobgoblins tribes, until the shaman BogtrazMurkytongue discovered a way to model the only mineral found in the swamps, the Blackiron. No longer they fought with bone clubs, but began to forge blackiron blades, shields, armors, and the fearsome arbalests. In a short time, the Blackrazor became a relentless army, their number grew out of proportions, as their hunger for power and conquest. The surrounding tribes had to surrender to the strength of the Blackrazor, who became the only Hobgoblins tribe in Falgor Swamp absorbing trough violence the weaker ones. This new force of despair and destruction, guided by the Hobgoblin Queen’s thirst for power, is now looking to extend their kingdom over the civilized cities and towns in Rotvar.
Very little is known about the legendary Thieves’ Guild in Rotvar an ancient and dark organization. Born in the shadows of ancient eras, it is only known that it is led by a group called the Hand of Shadow. You cannot enter the Thieves ‘Guild, it is the Thieves’ Guild who chooses its members among the most talented thieves. In a world riddled by monsters and demons, the Adept Thieves of the guild are not only trained to be invisible shadows, but also skilled fighters with swords, daggers, bows and crossbows. There is no treasure or relic that the Guild cannot steal out of greed or a wealthy patron.
During the war of the gods in Aera, after the Tyrant-God Tialevor corrupted the sacred tree of life Yaldain, a group of Arverians managed to escape from Aera and reach the continent of Rotvar, bringing the magical seeds of the tree Yaldain.
Today the Arverians, a proud but peaceful people, protect the sacred Rotvarian forest of Deeproots from the corruption, thanks to their great skill in the use of bows, spears and shields, repelling any threat such as the Gurunda manace, or the Dumlok who by order of Tialevor want to destroy the reborn Yaldain.
We are pleased to announce a new commercial license for some fantasticly detailed wargaming bases.
While the Kickstarter for these files delivered some time ago I’ve been so busy I’d not had a chance to start listing them. I also wasn’t sure how I was going to do it. Today I managed to carve out some time to get started.
These wargaming base stls are very versatile and I have decided to offer them in 3 different options. All of the option come with the texture printed in resin for the highest detail level and they are all printed in 2 parts to allow ease of printing.
The first option is for the underlying base to be printed in the same resin as the textured topper, this gives a nice smooth finish to the base rim but is a little more expensive than the other options.
Secondly you can combine your chosen topper texture with an FDM plastic printed base for a cheaper and slightly more rugged option.
Lastly you can buy just the toppers if you are using the bases with your existing bases like from Games Workshop sets.
Eventually the toppers will be available as Round Lipped bases inserts for popular games like Warmachine and Hordes but I will be getting the bevelled edged bases listed first.
Its a bit of a long labourious process pricing, doing images and listing the base sets so I will be publishing a few sets each day until all 20 sets are released. Currently available are the Volcanic, Factory, WWII and Crystal sets.
