New Year Infinity Update

Over the Christmas holidays I was very busy with family stuff but did manage to squeeze in a bunch of converting. All of it Infinity related. Over the Christmas holidays I was very busy with family stuff but did manage to squeeze in a bunch of converting. All of it Infinity related.
First up is the Szalamandra, I don’t like the original Corvus Belli model for the Szalamandra so I set about making my own. I do however really like the Geckos so I wondered if I could turn a Gecko into a Szally. Turns out it takes 2 Geckos, one from the hips up and the other from the waist down making it slightly taller than the Gecko. The addition of some Tau weaponry and liberal amounts of Apoxy sculpt and this is what you get.
Then came amuch simpler set of conversions. Changing weapons around on these guys. Adding MULTI-Sniper and Rocket Launcher to the Alguaciles and Giving the Spectres Combi-Rifle to the Brigada and converting him a Boarding Shotgun from an HMG. He will also be further converted to a Corregidor Bandit when I can work out what to do.
The next job was altering my additional 6th Airborne USAriadnan troops. I’ve kept the original weapons load on one of them (not pictured) and then converted one to be Rifle & Assault Pistol, and the other the to Boarding Shotgun.
Lastly on the converting front was the Securitate. The original models are very outdated so I set about converting my own. Starting with the trusty Alguacile I added caps and Combi-Rifle + Light Shotguns from an ITS weapons sprue.
After all that converting I felt I need to get back to doing some painting so I cracked on with the Securitate as a test scheme for the Tunguska element of my Nomad force. When I was happy with the scheme I knocked out the Interventor pretty quickly after that.
The next project is giving the Zond Remotes the Monstrous Makings treatment with a few upgrades then onto some more painting.
